About this image

This was the night of 11-12 July and for once the seeing calmed down enough to get my sharpest view of Saturn this time round. In this image as well as the Cassini division I've also managed at the extremes left and right to capture some of the Encke gap. A close look also shows that the lower part of Saturn is shining through the A ring at the very southernmost point.
