About this image

This is an image taken to monitor this comet as part of a programme run by Richard Miles (details here). The comet is currently quite faint (magnitude in a 5.8 arcsec radius is around 17) but it shows a large extended coma to the southeast. It is currently well placed and worth checking every clear night.
