About this image

Taken the night of 25-26 February when M51 was high overhead.  Seeing wasn't perfect, occasional thin bits of cloud and conditions deteriorated a little as the galaxy rose to its highest point from my location.  It was interesting to see how much detail could be pulled out in the circumstances with the CMOS camera on 180second exposures.  Flats deducted but no darks or bias.
