About this image

I've been experimenting with looking at close double stars using lucky imaging normally reserved for lunar and planetary work.  The aim has been to measure the angle and distance between the stars when at the magnification used there are no comparator stars available in the image. In this instance despite using relatively crude methods to measure I ended up with a result only 1% out from the latest professional estimate.

This represents my next one step towards the final goal of working out orbital progress of close doubles.
