About this image

An unexpected clear spell after a mainly cloudy day. Transparency was good and the seeing average, Ant III - II. Most of the captured videos did not yield very good results, but this one was the exception. No GRS, but there is a lot of delicate cloud detail in the equatorial zone and in the northern temperate regions. Processing was in Autostakkert!3 and Registax, from 7,500 of 10,000 frames captured in a 70 second window. South is up in this view; CM (System 1) was 111.5 degrees.
