About this image

Jupiter rarely fails to impress, and this evening there was a parade of storms in its southern hemisphere. Great Red Spot leads the march as it nears the Eastern limb while further south is a line of storms (A1-A5) like pearls adorning the SSTB. Two intense barges are also seen floating along the NEBn. Taken under better than average seeing (7\10).

Roughly 9K frames over 1 minute capture reduced by about a third using PIPP and then best 40% stacked in Autostakkert3! and processed in Registax6 and Photoshop.
