About this image

I photographed 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko on 29 and 30th Nov. and both photos showed after some over-stretching a (splitting) of the tail, though quite faint for my exposure. Is that an ion tail? no idea..

Great image of a very nice comet. No chance of seeing it from Chelmsford unfortunately. It is very low down and the weather has been very dull. Monday was the first day for quite a while that I had managed to see clouds. The previous four days were thick fog.

Thanks Nick, I had solid 2 weeks of clear skies in rural Morocco, and lots of photos to process :)
