About this image

The 145 km diameter asteroid (212) Medea, mag 13.1, occulting a mag 12.4 star in Taurus for 37.12 s.

I had swift-moving clouds and had my fingers crossed that one of the clearer gaps would move over the star at the right time. Luckily it did and I got the attached light curve. I could have used a shorter integration time but it was a S/N gamble with the cloud cover. Because of Medea's very slow sky motion at the moment the integration setting of 0.64 s was still acceptable to time a chord across the asteroid.
