About this image

Another of the products from my lost 56GB. I have not imaged M81 as a target by itself for 10 years and with a new scope well, I gave in to temptation. Happily, it came out quite well. Needed lots of frames because I do not yet have autoguiding working. Lots of short exposures on a moon free night does make for a smooth background and the Holmberg IX satellite galaxy came out well.

A little DDP applied within AstroArt8. Otherwise, nothing fancy done.

Very nice.  Holmberg IX is very far from obvious but you did well to get it at all.
