About this image

This was my first use of a new planetary camera that is known to be sensitive in IR including around 880-900 nm for methane detection on Jupiter.  I was pleasantly surprised by the ability to capture more detail than I had managed with cameras such as the ASI462MC which on paper is probably more sensitive in IR.   On the second run I went at 26 ms and 38 frames per second, unheard of speeds (for me) iin methane for Jupiter and only on about half the gain value I could have pushed the camera up to.
