About this image

Fully processed in PixInsight. All frames calibrated with bias, darks and flats and then aligned on the head of the comet. After stacking the L channel the stars were removed. Then an RGB image was combined and spectroscopically colour calibrated and then the stars were removed. Then the LRGB was created with the starless images. Finally, the stars were saved from a stack of the RGB data which was aligned on the stars. Finally the RGB stars were combined with the starless LRGB image.
