About this image

The images on the laptop screen during capture seemed atrocious but ultimately there were enough decent frames to generate an acceptable image. Lucky imaging indeed!

The horizontal marking across the centre of the disk is Sinus Sabaeus with the fork of Sinus Meridiani at its end. Syrtis Major is the much foreshortened wedge on the left hand limb. At top left the bright area is Hellas. Hellespontus is the dark marking extending from beneath Hellas to the top of the image. Lower right is Mare Acidalium and upper right Mare Erythraeum.
