About this image

A bright waning gibbous Moon had risen, but a fit of madness came over me after the accidental "discovery" of this faint bluish interloper near C/2022E3 the night before. I prefer my quarry to be brighter fuzzy than this! The bright 3rd magnitude stars are Eta and Zeta Aurigae (two of the "Kids"). Comet C/2022 U2 is just below them. Just.

Don't knock i.

It's a (relatively) bright comet and you have taken a nice image of it.

Now, if it were V=20 I may have more sympathy.
