About this image

This was a pleasing image to capture as Mars is now less than 9 arc seconds in diameter. It is a de-rotated stack of the best 25% of five short video sets in red, green and blue. Thin cloud can be seen to the South as well as in the NW corner between the polar region and Olympus Mons.
