About this image

The 'shadow' across part of the nebula, highlighted by an arrow in the magnified view at lower left, has narrowed compared to its appearance in my previous posting on 25th January. The view appears to be returning to something like that seen in mid December 2022.

The track of main belt asteroid 749 Malzovia can be seen at lower right.
