Title

Venus clouds on four successive days

About this image

A rare opportunity on four successive afternoons to image Venus in UV.  In theory the clouds of Venus take four Earth days to rotate but of course as they constantly change it is hard to tell if a four day rotation is repeating any part of the image from first to last.  All the same, it shows the range of cloud features in UV over a four day period.

Hello Martin

Exposure times varied between 5 ms and 8 ms and gain from around 150 to 225 on a scale of 0-1200.
