About this image

This animation shows an  occultation of Io followed approximately 6 minutes later by an occultation of Europa.

This animation runs from 19:05.4 to 19:16.2UT. It comprises 12x30 second  videos although not evenly spaced in time and very quickly processed. Transparency was very good. The seeing was however variable as can be seen in the varied resolution of the animation,  even over this short period of time. The Red Spot was also visible.
