About this image

The Flying Saucer galaxy (my preferred nickname for it!). Taken either side of midnight on 1-2 February in hazy and then clearing conditions before clouds arrived in the early hours. NGC 4562 is lower right. Upper middle is the faint smudge that is IC 3582.
