About this image

Captured in gaps between bouts of thin and hazy cloud.  I switched from my trusty ZWO ASI482MC to the Player One Uranus-C, mainly for other planetary targets where the Uranus-C has better sensitivity in IR.  Saturn is still relatively low in our skies but at close to 30 degrees is gradually getting above the worst of the atmosphere for imaging purposes, reflected in the better detail here.

(I also used the Uranus C as well as the ZWO ASI482MC on 28th July on Saturn but apart from showing me that there is very little difference between the two cameras on Saturn I found that night that the thin cloud and slightly worse 'seeing' took away the detail in the images.)
