Astonishing !   Is that coming out of AR 4046 - see image labeled by Duncan.

Thank you Tim, yes AR4046 is the culprit. All I saw at time of scanning with the SHG was a brightening on the edge of the Halpha line, didn't have any idea of the size of the flare until carrying out the reconstruction of the images. Will be keeping a close eye on this area (if clouds stay away that is).
