About this image

Borisov's variable nebula caught just before new moon. The focus went off during the 3 hour image sequence, but still gave a half decent result - given how low in the sky it was.

Very little change detected but the sky in the background is really pretty.

Excellent image of Borisov VN. Although the long exposure time is a bit of a commitment, this nebula's clarity certainly repays a long exposure.

I only do Borisov's nebula once or twice a year so its worth doing it right.

The data is a bit thin after only an hour.  It makes for a very relaxing session!

Its certainly down into 20th mag territory.
