Title

invisible ringed Saturn at dawn

About this image

My first sight of Saturn this year, taken as dawn broke and the Sun rose with Saturn on 14 degrees above the horizon and flitting in and out of local trees and foliage.  In the bright dawn skies the thin rings are not detectable, all that can be seen is the shadow of the rings on Saturn.
