In the late afternoon on 31^st July 2025 a very unusual cloud pattern developed over Brisbane (Australia). As time progressed towards sunset it became more striking. This image was also around 4.45pm. (Sunset was 5.19pm.) It was taken by my son Chris Anderson from his house at Bardon 5km west of the central city, looking east. In particular this shows the spectacular formation clearly over the central city and so nicely places this phenomenon.
