Juno at PJ53

Here is our report on the JunoCam images at PJ53, in our usual style.  The coverage of Jupiter was similar to PJ52, and there were no major changes on the planet.  A map of Jupiter from amateur images is included for comparison.

The highlight was Juno’s closest flyby of Io so far, resolving notable features including the Loki volcano, northern mountains, and the Prometheus plume.

The report with miniature figures is in this PDF:  Report-on-PJ53&MiniFigs

The full-size figures are in this ZIP file:  PJ53-report_Figures
