‘Messenger’ No. 8 and No. 9 published

The eighth and ninth issues of Messenger, the Mercury & Venus newsletter, are now online. Issue No. 8 (October 2021) features an article by Peter Tickner about his experiments with filters to obtain better images of Venus in the UV and IR ranges.

Issue No. 9 (March 2022) discusses developments with the Parker Solar Probe, which flew by Venus on 20 February. Chris Hooker also gives an overview of conditions for observing Mercury.
