Minor planet 372 Palma will be at opposition on 2011 Oct 21 while passing in front of M31 (Andromeda Galaxy). It might be interesting to take photos at, say, half-hourly intervals to form a trail.A chart showing the planet’s path is here: britastro.org/computing/handbooks_charts.html
