Whilst the comet is invisible here to the naked eye, due Birmingham’s light pollution, I immediately found it on July 20, in 10×50 bins and thanks to the chart Nick had posted, at 01:30 BST and again at 23:15 BST. (My brother in Maidenhead reports a similar experience.) Mostly cloudy here since.
