Perseid Meteor Watch at Norman Lockyer Observatory

We appeased the Sky Gods last night! We had 240 visitorsto NLO on Tueday night for our Perseid Meteor Watch and Storytelling session under the stars with David Heathfield, accompanied by musicians Kimwei and Lisa Rowe. A great night! Many meteors seen by all before moon rise. We offered 3 talks about the Perseids and 4 planetarium shows to our audience followed by tales of Greek and Japanese myths under clear skies.
