On the mornings of August 7 and 8 Frank Melillo (USA) imaged changeable bright dust clouds over Chryse-Xanthe and environs. I have already alerted our other contributors from the longitudes of America and Canada, and hope for more information and reports soon. This event is not likely to exceed Regional status, and will probably be over long before it can be seen from the longitude of the UK. Observers in the UK are currently watching the Syrtis Major-Hellas side of the planet.
