    I’m curious to know, please when the 2011/12 Mars observing season begins.And is there a co-ordinated Mars watch for this seasons apparition? I ask this. Because I want to try and involve, member’s of the Macclesfield Astronomical Society, in a Mars observing program. I want to encourage more visual observing in my society, together with observational drawing’s made at the eyepiece. If anybody on here "Richard McKim" for example, can offer advice, where to submit observations etc.I would be grateful.
