    If you didn’t see it visually with your own eyes, then I would suggest it was lens flare

    Looks like dirty optics to me. If it happens again try taking photos with the camera in different orientations. Normal, then sideways then upside down. If it’s the lens then the rays will change position…Or was it taken through a window???
