David Gill’s A history and description of the Royal Observatory, Cape of Good Hope. 1913. Large book 380mm x 300mm x 30mm thick. Spine wonky and stunned but all pages attached. Cheapest copy online is £300 but happy to take £100 for it.
Robert Schindler’s The Mechanic of the Moon. 1906. Only 250 copies were printed. Again spine wonky but pages are attached. A child at some point has scribbled in pencil on about 5 pages. Inscription from the author at the back. In poorer end of OK condition. Only one other copy online for £100, happy to take £35 for this.
Nasmyth and Carpenter, The Moon considered as a planet, a world, and a satellite. 1903 edition. Page edges rough cut, spine and binding firm. Tidy copy. £150.
