Thought some of you might be interested in this.I was out setting up my camera to image nova Delphinus recently and noticed a faint arc high up in Cygnus. To the naked eye it just looked like high cirrus cloud with no colour but when I took a time exposure it turned out to be a circumzenithal arc which I had only ever seen before in daylight. Within a few minutes of taking the photo it had gone…so a case of being in the right place at the right time!Mike.
