There is another CLPS lander on the way to the Moon. The Intuitive Machines Odysseus lander was launched this morning on a Space-X Falcon 9 and it should arrive at the Moon in 8 days time. In the meantime it is perfectly placed for us to follow. Tonight it is in Gemini. You can get an ephemeris from JPL Horizons using the target body “IM-1”.
It is very close to the Horizons prediction and around mag 12 at the moment (Feb 15.95). It’s been almost total overcast here tonight but I managed to get a few images in small gaps.
I managed to image the lander and the Falcon 9 rocket booster in a rare (mostly) clear sky on Sunday night (2024 February 18/19). Matched positions given Project Pluto Artsat predictions: https://www.projectpluto.com/sat_eph.htm.
