Preprint on ArXiv today may give heart to those looking for Vulcan during the eclipse next week: “Vulcan: Retreading a Tired Hypothesis with the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse”, https://arxiv.org/abs/2403.20281

If anyone is successful, might I suggest a submission to the BAA Journal instead of the venue the author used?

Any paper which cites both John Couch Adams and Douglas Adams gets my vote.

…and Roger Dymock and Albert Einstein…

As lunchtime has passed, may I point out the relevant note:
“Comments: 11 pages, submitted to Acta Prima Aprilia”
Oddly I didn’t see much journalistic creativity today.

There are several other choice publications on today’s ArXiv listing. I like:

“I’m in AGNi: A new standard for AGN pluralisation”
    and
    “Multi-Messenger Astrology“

Thanks Paul for this hilarious and clever article. Just as I was thinking that Ali Frolop had eluded me this year!
