Possible project for the Transit of Mercury.

Hi all,

Sorry for the delay in posting this, but I’ve had a communication from Jean Jean Bourgeois who has suggested the a project to determine the depth of the Solar Chromosphere using observations from the transit of Mercury on Monday (this is based on work he did in 2003 I believe).  Anyone interested can find details of the project in the attache document or contact Jean (his email address is given in the document).

Good luck to everyone for the transit tomorrow- do send your observations into either Chris Hooker or myself.
