This image was taken last September when the sun was actually shining for a while. The image was taken on my trusty DMK 41AU02.AS, a mono camera mounted on a single stack Lunt 60mm solar scope at 0.7 A. The image was over exposed to reveal the faint prominences and then stacked on registack 5. The over exposed disc was later filled in using Photoshop.
Thank you David, I am hoping to do much more with the sun as far as imaging is concerned and also increase my knowledge about our local star. I think the Lunt solar telescope is extremely good value and am looking forward to pushing the double stack to its limit. Steve
