I’ve just posted a colour image of this type 1a classed supernova discovery by Koichi Itagki. I don’t have the skills on photometry to calcuate the magnitude I observed, although the blue hue confirms a typical trait and the galaxy far left of the image is dimmer at a known magnitude of 14.9. It is quite low in UK skies.
