The April 2025 new Moon occurred at 19:32 (UT) on the 27th [BAA Handbook data]
Last evening (April 28) it was around twenty four hours old and I managed to see it at 20:15 UT (Moon age 24h 45m) some forty-five minutes before it set.
The attached images were taken from the village of Newbourne, just east of Ipswich, Suffolk using an iPhone.
