A friend (a Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, School of Physics & Astronomy) has let me know about a current vacancy within the School for a Senior Teaching Laboratory Support Technician.

The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the physics and astronomy laboratories, as well as assisting with the University’s observatory. The job is highly suited for anyone with an interest in astronomy and astrophysics.
