These are superb books which cover the history of observation, lunar folklore, observing techniques and detailed chapters on each day of the phases over Volumes 1 and 2. Volume 3 has a large number of data tables, a moon atlas and extensive bibliography and index. I received mine this week – I ordered direct from Springer (publisher) and they arrived in just 3 days from their distribution centre in Germany.
