By day, I am a software developer working at the Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge, on the transit discovery pipeline for the European Space Agency's PLATO mission (scheduled for a 2026 launch). I previously worked as a spectroscopist at Lund Observatory, developing rapid techniques for analysing the thousands of spectra that professional multi-object spectrographs such as WEAVE and 4MOST can produce in a single night. Among my nocturnal projects, I run educational websites including https://in-the-sky.org and https://sciencedemos.org.uk . I wrote the software which the BAA uses to manage its online image galleries and archives, and also maintain the servers which run the BAA website. If you have an enquiry about the BAA website, or your website account, you can contact the website operations team via this web form.
