I've always had an interest in astronomy, in fact I was a member of the BAA back in the 1970's. My first telescope was a Christmas present from my parents back in the late 60's, it was a Tasco 40mm retractor which while limited did allow me to independently discover Satums rings :) My main interest now is in astrophotography with deep sky objects being my favoured targets, I use a dedicated mono CCD camera along with an assortment of DSLR's and mono video camera for lunar and solar work.
