I have had a life long interest in astronomy, ever since receiving the Observers Book of Astronomy as a 9 year old boy! I have only fairly recently bought my own telescope (Skywatcher Explorer 200pds, EQ5 Pro mount) and now I am retired I would love to spend far more time observing - if only the weather will let me. I haven't yet settled into any one area, so I sketch deep sky objects, the Moon and planets; as well as moving into astrophotography, and even variable star photometry. There is just so much to do!
