Mystery formation

Christmas is coming so here's a little seasonal teaser. Can anyone identify this formation and say where in the solar system it can be found?

No prizes for a correct answer - but you can claim bragging rights!

Christmas is not that soon! :)

I guessed the solar system body correctly, but didn't know about the site. I won't give it away.....

Well done (maybe!).

Sorry to mention C but I had to have some excuse . . . (our local garden centre had its Christmas launch two weeks ago, complete with a visit from Santa!)
