I produce the astronomy pages for Whitaker’s Almanack.

I would like someone who is familiar with the following topics to check the accuracy of various descriptions:

Greenwich Mean Time, Universal Time, Apparent solar time, Sidereal time, Ephemeris time, Atomic time, Radio time signals.

I have attached a Word file so you can see what I am talking about. Contact me off list at sheridan@clock-tower.com

Sheridan – A quick look tells me that from an historical perspective there is only mention of two time-related events happening since 2000 namely European Summer Time Act in 2002, and MSF Rugby to Anthorn switch in 2007. I think more can be written about a few significant changes since then. But that needs some researching to identify what that might be.

Im not an expert – and sorry ive just seen your request.  In the section on Universal Time, GMT starting at Noon was also referred to as GMAT, Greenwich Mean Astronomical Time  – a very minor point.
