    Jupiter sized exoplanet WD 1856b transits its much smaller white dwarf parent star. Actually, partially eclipses is perhaps a more apt description as it is a 56% deep grazing event (What are the odds against a geometry like that !), making it a must for a JWST measurement of the transmission spectrum of its atmosphere.  Although deep, detecting a transit presents interesting different challenges compared with more typical exoplanet transits due to its faintness (mag 17) and brevity (8 min)  Here is my first attempt
