About this image

The dust storm effects around the Southern regions can be seen in these three images taken at approximately half hour intervals, each a stack of the best 40% of several quick videos at 10 ms exposure and 100fps. The added brightness from the dust has caused a touch of the ringing effect around the Southern polar region as well.
