About this image

Got an alert from my Son, while we were returning from Birmingham. I took this image just as some colourful bright rays appeared stationary.

The red glow extended down as far as about -5 declination in images. Northern horizon had curtains of green. A good display in a clear sky following six days of bad weather. (1530 nT at max activity - AuroraWatchUK). Visual colouration was seen at maximum activity.
