‘Messenger’ No. 11 Published

The January issue (No. 11) of the Mercury and Venus section newsletter is available online for members to download.

The issue features a chart of Venus’s activity and movements for 2023, an article about imaging the dark side of Venus and opportunities to do so later this year, and updates and observations by members.

The Mercury and Venus section will also  be holding a Section meeting on Saturday 15th April at 1415 as part of the BAA Winchester weekend- a three day residential course which covers many aspects of astronomy. The event is held out in the countryside at the splendid Sparsholt College and is run by Ann Davies.

You will need to book to attend the event, and you can either book for the entire weekend or you can just come for the day. You can find more information about the event and details of how to book a place here: BAA Winchester 2023

If you are not a member, you can access this issue and all issues of Messenger by joining the BAA.
